Simple Weather Indicator
Simple Weather Indicator is a no frills open source project for Ubuntu Unity, and Gnome 3 desktops, licensed under GPL-3.0 with over 2,000 active users. The project uses an in-house weather service to get the current weather condition and has its own PPA and AUR repositories.
It is developed and designed with Python and PyGTK. The indicator comes with a set of features and it is all supported by the community.
The project has been reflected in many various Linux community sites such as OMG! Ubuntu!, UbuntuHandbook, NoobsLab, It’s FOSS, etc. Scored 3rd in top 10 Ubuntu 16.04 indicators by It’s FOSS.
